The members of the Missouri City Chapter of The Links, Incorporated (MCCL), in partnership with The Choice Foundation, are excited to announce their plans for “Celebrating a 30-Year Legacy of Community Service.” For more than three decades MCCL members have provided comprehensive programs and leadership service locally, nationally and internationally. Our programs include health initiatives, education and leadership programs for students and senior citizens, health and social issues with international impact, particularly in Africa, and the implementation and cultivation of visual and performing arts in Houston.

To celebrate our accomplishments and salute the leadership of other dynamic women, MCCL members have planned a three-day weekend, May 29-31, 2009. Weekend activities will provide opportunities for the community and corporations to celebrate with us.
The
highlight of the weekend is our Emerald Legacy of Leadership Luncheon
appropriately themed: “Celebrating a 30-Year Legacy
of Community Service and Honoring Exceptional Leadership.”
During the luncheon we will recognize 30 years of MCCL’s service
in the community and other exceptional leaders. The Emerald Legacy
of Leadership Luncheon will be held Saturday, May 30, 2009,
at the Hilton Americas Hotel, located in Houston.
We hope that you will favorably consider supporting our community initiatives by purchasing a table or individual ticket to the luncheon. Proceeds from this luncheon will support continuation of our community service initiatives.
